And this article with the craigslist sperm donor shows the double standard with men and women in family court. As far as criticizing feminism, I see nothing wrong with it. Your allowed to criticize any other philosophy or idea, why shouldn't you be allowed to criticize feminism as well? I don't tend to agree with feminism, not because I think it's hostile towards men but because I don't believe it is a movement that understands men and knows how to adequately defend them.

Its the Uk -its different here.

Well it looks like the only place I'll donate sperm is in the UK then.

Going trekky here, first off the ferderation is not communist as they have a elected government, unlike any communist nation in history. Secondly star trek is a work of fiction and is overly Idealistic at times.

The definition of feminism depends on who you ask. The focus of feminism does tend to be on women's rights (i.e. elevating the rights of women to be equal to those of men). It rarely seems to focus on men's rights.

Even the word is more focused on women (fem/femin comes from the words female / feminine).

Add to that the fact that the word has been poisoned by various women's rights movements, and it's no wonder why so many are critical of it.

Hence why I advocate abandoning the word and using "egalitarianism" instead. At least from the get go, egalitarianism is about pushing for both women and men's rights.

Democracy is not inherently counter to communist ideology. Just because it has not yet been done, does not mean it could never be done.

And I know Star Trek is a work of fiction. ROFLOL

No one said it could never be done. Someone put it in a negative light and you used two works of fiction to argue that it could work. That's like saying a time machine could work because The Time Machine. It's possibly the worst argument I have ever seen while still managing to be funny. No offense, really. It's just very, very bad.

That being said, communism is a heap of fucking dog shit. It has done absolutely fuckall to help anyone. It has a history nearly as bad and possibly worse than dictatorships. I might actually be hard pressed to find a difference.
