The Last Movie You Watched
RE: The Last Movie You Watched
So, Reel Evil was watchable. I don't think it's 3.6/10 on imdb is warranted. I've seen much worse films.

EDIT: Now I'm going to do something brave. I'm going to try to watch Puppet Master followed by Demonic Toys. Why is this brave? Because all anthropomorphic inanimate objects creep me out, including puppets and toys. The concept of these movies is basically my nightmare. Maybe these horror movies will actually succeed in scaring me (it's not an easy thing to do).

I love classic scary movies. I used to catch them all the time of scifi channel.

Yeah, I still love watching "Syfy Originals." So bad they're hilarious.

Puppet Master was meh so I decided not to watch Demonic Toys. Now what am I going to do? I've watched all the Stephen King and HP Lovecraft adaptations. If there are any Edgar Allen Poe adaptations, they probably suck. I think I've watched every movie Tim Burton ever made. I've watched every movie with "lesbian vampire" in its keywords on imdb. And the ones with the combination of "vampire" and "full female frontal nudity."

Ah, fuck it, I'll just rewatch Slumber Party Massacre. It's written by famously gay Rita Mae Brown, and while they tried to turn her satire into a straight slasher flick, there's still a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor left in there to enjoy.

Okay, so I browsed some imdb lists and found a few more movies to watch.

Deadly Friend was good, except it totally ignored how science works. Especially at the end. It was like, WTF writers?

Mirrors was also good, especially the ending. Still, we're supposed to believe that schizophrenia is caused by demon possession? Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah...

But it is. It can only be cured by old men in dresses waving sticks at you, yelling at you from a silly book, and throwing water at you.

Or, possibly, leeches.

Both are equally effective.

So, you know EVP? It's when "ghost hunters" record static and play it back and say that ghosts are talking to them. White Noise takes it a step further and says that ghosts are telling people about shit that hasn't even happened yet. It was a pretty decent movie, so now I'm going to watch White Noise 2, which I am optimistic about even though it's a sequel because it stars Nathan Fillion and Katee Sackhoff. Sci-fi heaven.

White Noise 2 is quite good. But I didn't think it as good as the original.

OMG, the black guy in White Noise 2 called Fillion's character Captain Tightpants. Firefly reference <3

EDIT: That was pretty good. Ghost Nathan Fillion was suuuper ethereal. For realsies.
