After all, I'm sure you're not claiming you know everything, and your parents are human, so of course they lie. More importantly, you're on shaky logical ground to begin with; from our perspective everything they've ever told you about god is untrue, but more importantly, it doesn't follow that if what they told you was untrue they were lying. They could just be wrong.
