I'm growing very weary of JesusLover's cyclical arguments.
It gets fucking old having the same debate with this half-wit every other thread. Literally he doesn't know anything about anything. He's got to be the least educated person here and goes around shooting his mouth off with this stupid childish nonsense. He's that dumb spoiled fat kid that desperately needs a spanking from his old man, but manages to always avoid it be hiding behind his over-protective mother. jesusdicksuckingchrist (March 2, 2014 at 4:02 pm)JesusLover1 Wrote: How can they just mistakenly start talking in another language? 'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House “Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom "If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech RE: Proof of the soul?

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

JL1's posts read just like a farce. This is too Poe-like to believe he's just this misinformed.
JL1, what you're doing is dishonest, and the fact that you haven't come clean yet is very telling of your fear of reprimand. Even though, every day you continue on without telling us who you really are, you forfeit that much more patience the staff here will have with you. No rush though. Keep purposefully lying to everyone here. People love dishonesty, right? (March 2, 2014 at 4:07 pm)JesusLover1 Wrote: Why do atheists not rely on what people say? Because people lie. Especially people who have an overt agenda to convert you to their way of thinking. Quote:Why should I believe what anyone says then? Believe it if you can verify that it is true. Anecdotes about the existence of a god are largely anecdotes about personal experiences that are unverifiable. Be highly dubious of such anecdotes. You know what, JL1? Check out Brain Games on the National Geographic channel (link below). In this show they have interactive games you can play along with and teaches you about your brain, how it works, and how it can be fooled. http://braingames.nationalgeographic.com/episode/1/
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
