I cant tell if you are for real or trolling.
Wikipedia: Amniotic fluid- At first it is mainly water with electrolytes, but by about the 12-14th week the liquid also contains proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and phospholipids, and urea, all of which aid in the growth of the fetus.

not immediately after, during the actual child birth.

you keep saying you're a Christian but yet you don't know anything, you do realize that babies have a spirit right?

all spiders belong to the same group Araneae why do you keep insisting that "many families of spiders" were involved?

I'm simply listening to what you say. Carefully.
I said
Quote: Animals have very clear classification systems. Genus. Species that style of thing. They have clear meanings. So what exactly is a "sort"?

And you replied
Quote:did you miss the part in the definition where is states "category of things"
ie. the different family of animals.

Equidae
Ursidae
Canidae
Felidae
Cervida

But now you've flipped from family to order (aranae) . As I rather suspected you would.

So I'll ask again. What is a" sort" from a taxonomic classification point of view.

Just to read ahead, if you plan to change your answer from "family" to "order" there are some somewhat more challenging questions to resolve.

Oh and lol at "babies HAVE" spirits. They have kidneys too. Shall we say "after the water comes the kidneys?

maybe you should quit while you're behind. As I pointed out "sort" is defined as the "category of things" your point of view doesn't change the definition. It doesn't matter if you categorize as family/order, short/tall, mammal/reptile. They still fall into a category and therefore fall under the definition of "sort".

How Noah categorized the animals, I have no idea, the Bible just says he took 2 of each "sort". My list was was giving you an example since you doubted the definition I gave off the top of my head.

And by the way, you still have yet to acknowledge you were wrong about the word "sort" as you put it

So it's just a bunch of handwaving you pulled out of your ass? Why should we take you at all seriously, then? You're now just using the same, problem riddled, vague "kind" bullshit all the other creationists use.

Yeah. You nailed it, Huggy. The baby be missing it's god spark. That's why it's stillborn. You must be a doctor or something.

Quote:What causes a baby to be stillborn?

•A baby simply did not grow enough in the uterus.
•A genetic or physical defect in the baby. This means the baby's brain, heart or other organ has not developed properly.
•Heavy bleeding after 24 weeks of pregnancy. This can happen when the placenta begins to separate from the lining of the uterus. It is called a placental abruption.
•Pre-eclampsia, which can reduce blood flow to the baby via the placenta. This condition is associated with placental abruption.
•An illness suffered by the mum, such as diabetes, the liver condition obstetric cholestasis, or a blood-clotting problem.
•A problem with the way the baby is born. A baby's shoulders may get stuck as he leaves the birth canal (shoulder dystocia), severely reducing oxygen flow to him.
•Infections, such as listeriosis, salmonella or toxoplasmosis.

The whole issue is what the word "sort" meant in the bible.

I clearly asked what was the difference between the two, not the cause.

Not having a fully formed heart or brain is a pretty big difference.

Sigh. I'm guessing you're not thinking of "a pulse" Are you Dodgy

Quote: and wrong about amniotic fluid.
Seriously?!

Let me try this using very small words.

When you mix stuff with water, we call it something different. Water with tea in it is called tea. Water with salt in it is called saline. Water with blood cells, electrolytes and a bunch of other stuff in it is called blood. And the water in a lady which has all sorts of of stuff dissolved in it is called amniotic fluid.

The baby is made up of mostly water as well come to think of it!
Quote: How Noah categorized the animals, I have no idea

There we go. So it's NOT "families" as you said.

Quote:  Like I said quit while your behind.

Yeah, that's probably the smartest thing you've said. As Thomas paint said, arguing with someone who has abandoned the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead.

For "medicine" You can read "water" if you like since most fluid medicine is water with some stuff in it.

Why is your definition of 'sort' any better than ours? With the story of the ark, it is commonly believed that noah took two of every species on board. What makes you think that it wasn't that?

RE: Intelligent design? Really?
Think is bw, he hasn't GIVEN a definition of "sort". First he gave a definition which said "characteristic in common". When I pointed out that that didn't work he changed his mind and said that "sort" meant "family", then when I pointed out that that didn't work either he gave an example which was an order. Then at the last he admitted he didn't actually know what system used.
