I don't care if Hell will be on fire or not, because I'll have left my body with its nervous system behind, so I won't be feeling any pain.

But spiritual pain is even worse than physical pain! You'll have to take our word on it, though, like everything else.

Whenever I think of the concept of hell, I remember in the Bible the passage about "gnashing of teeth." lol I always thought that was such a weird image to think of about "hell."

People sitting around, surrounded by a blazing inferno, gnashing their teeth. 0..o

'Hell' is a fabrication of the Abrahamic religions ....
All other religions speak of 'The Underworld' (a sad and dismal place but nothing liken to this 'Hell')
So the only thing that the Abrahamic religions have to threaten others with is this concept of 'Hell' that they have
What nasty, horrible, self serving arseholes those who adhere to the Abrahamic religions are. Says more about them then it does about those they quite cheerfully condemn to this hell of theirs

We joke about people choosing to have bad things happen, but in some cases people do take it seriously. Who hasn't heard people accusing women of choosing to get raped for not having enough of their bodies covered? Or because they're an adult, at a bar, having a few drinks?

I've always wondered this, too. Not to mention, the Bible describes a god with a pretty twisted value system, so how are we to know we wouldn't actually like hell? I mean, if someone is convinced that wearing blended fabrics, picking up sticks on a Sunday or making fun of a bald dude are all deserving of the death penalty, why would you want to spend eternity hanging with someone like that? Not to mention, can you imagine how much more of an asshole he's got to be in his own home?

Yeah, send me to hell. That's where the party is.
