The republican message from many of the far right is about hate.

If they were about greed they would not speak out against government actions that enhance their wealth. For instance, the Koch brothers receive money from the government in the form of ethanol subsidies...yet they speak out against ethanol subsidies because such government actions skew the market. The Koch brothers favor a free market over a mixed market even when the mixed market works in their favor. You need to realize that just because some people have a different ideology doesn't mean they are more greedy or evil than anyone else. However, hate peddlers like Minimalist try to appeal to your emotions and convince you that people of opposing ideologies are evil. Ummm wrong. They will make a lot more if they can get republicans to run the country then the measley subsidies.
Money is about power. People like Koch worship money and power. We know that a "free market" doesn't work. We have seen that many many times. Nor do they believe in a free market. If they did, they wouldn't be telling republicans to pass laws to put others to a disadvantage. To make it harder for others to compete against themselves. As far as republicans teaching hate, it isn't about their anti government, false morality views that is the problem. I don't care what nuts exist in that party. The problem is their hate of anyone that is different from themselves. Their lack of inclusiveness of other people. Whether they are liberals, black, gay, muslims, etc. They pretend they love them. They even say all the right "intellectual" words about loving but hating their lifestyle. But the fact is, you can't teach people to hate what others do and love them at the same time. It shows a fundamental lack of understanding of unconditional love If they did love these people they would do everything they can to empower them as people. To share their love. Accept them as they are but they don't. Instead they teach that discrimination is ok. They try to pass laws that allow them to discriminate and otherwise treat others differently. They try to force their religious views on other. All of which shows they have no understanding of Love. The claim that the free market has been tried many times and failed is false. Regulated markets have been tried many times and they fail. What is likely true is that all markets fail at one time or another. Second, can you show that the Koch brothers are any greedier or hungry for power than anyone else? Can you show that the Koch brothers are evil because they do evil things or are they just "evil" because they don't think like you do? You claiming the Koch brothers are greedy and hungry for power is just you trying to get people to hate the Koch brothers. You are a hate peddler. You don't solve issues of greed and power by creating an environment where no rules would be used by the greedy to gain power. There is no way around having a government. No government at all will simply allow those with the money to become bullies themselves. I think it is a bit naive to assume people will do the right thing on their own without government. If they can rig government certainly they can do even worse to those without money if no government exists at all. The key isn't no government vs nanny state. The key is to ban monopolies of power. Now right now we are not doing a good job of stopping a class monopoly. But the idea of no government at all is far more frightening to me. Lols, No, just not blind to what is going on around me. I have never seen a party that is as exclusive as the republican party is today. Exclusivity throughout history has been the basis of wars and bigotry. The republican party doesn't even bother hiding their bigotry. They just accuse anyone that dares point it out of being bigots. As to proving they are more greedier than anyone else? That would entail a very large set of data and quite frankly I suspect they would just deny they are greedy. Greed is the desire to obtain far more than they need. And Koch brothers have far far far far more than they need. But from a economic view and a democratic view, concentrated wealth is bad. Our economy is suffering under poor growth because of the concentrated wealth. Our democracy has been subverted to who has the most money. And that is all bad. I |
