Ah, Hitler is killing millions of Jewish people...oh well...hey Peter, hand me the remote...I think Cops is on.

I'd rather think of god as non existent.

No. He created us and allows to make our own choices. I assume that atheists prefer to make choices for themselves, so God should be attractive to you in that way. But if everyone lived according to Jesus' teachings, these injustices would not be occurring.

No go back to the part of the bible where Jesus supposedly says, (Paraphrasing), "Anyone who doesn't hate his family cannot be a follower of mine".

Your presumption that there needs to be a humanoid creator for everything that exists is the saddest possible statement about human nature. Projection is a helluva drug.

Depends on what your idea of good literature is I guess.

The injustices are created by those of you who claim to "follow jesus," when people have followed moral traditions far before your religion even existed.

You may as well explain why our prisons are full of Jesus followers.

No "who" involved. It's a natural process that developed in an open system after the planet formed - for us, anyway - and we evolved to fit the conditions of the planet.

@Rampant.A.I., And your assumption to fixate on creation by creation itself is out of my understand. We created programming languages to develop software. Who created these programming languages we call biology, physics and chemistry.

Anyways, this is rather turning into a argument. I only want exchange of knowledge. It was a pleasant experience with you guys especially pocaracas. Best of luck. Smile

They were there naturally for us to discover.

No god placed anything here for us. It all occurred naturally. We are the only creators in this world.

God gives humanity the freedom to commit genocide. It seems god has a twisted view of "personal freedom". No thank you. I don't consider the god of the bible a moral role model. I consider the god of the bible a narcissist who kills millions for worshipping the wrong god, yet refuses to intervene when people are being systematically tortured.
