Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.
RE: Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.
It's hard to wrap your head around the concept of "nothing" because everything in our reality is in fact "something". Therefore it's hard to think about what "nothing" is and its properties. The quantum foam theory attempts to explain how everything came from nothing. It makes a lot more sense than the Catholic theory of the Big Bang does.

"three British astrophysicists, Steven Hawking, George Ellis, and Roger Penrose turned their attention to the Theory of Relativity and its implications regarding our notions of time. In 1968 and 1970, they published papers in which they extended Einstein's Theory of General Relativity to include measurements of time and space. According to their calculations, time and space had a finite beginning that corresponded to the origin of matter and energy"

this would agree with the hebrew verb used in genesis 1 and 2 describing the universe and the human spirit as originating from something that previously didn't exist, ex nihilo. lawrence krauss agrees with 'nothing' in his book 'a universe from nothing'.

Every religion claims that, Snowy. Why should be privilege yours over anyone else's? Dodgy

Where did god come from, of course our minds, where did the universe come from, again our mind, we then make a story out of it.

Big Grin

No it is not ignorance, rather, Jesus has revealed Himself and His followers have received Him and His message of love, hope, and faith. Believe on the Lord before it is too late. Blessings.

How do you show love, hope, and faith? Have you sold all of your possessions and given the proceeds to the poor? If someone asks you for something do you give it to him without a second thought? Have you left your family and started preaching across the land with just the clothes on your back? Is your faith strong enough to enable you to move a mountain just by telling it to move?

Has it ever occurred to you there are similar disciples who have claimed the same message of love, hope, and faith throughout human history?

What if Jesus was simply the same type of voice, speaking up?

What if the everlasting love of Christ isn't simply the man who lived and gained followers, but a conduit to deeper human understanding?

What you share might have some truth, however, none have had nor ever will have the authority of Christ. He is the Son of God. His message is of hope, love, and faith but the gospel is that we all are sinners and that sin leads to death, spiritual death. He died to pay in full for our sins so that we can stand before a holy and righteous God justified. Dear friend embrace the Savior while there is still time.
