"And they all lived happily ever after...until she saw that he couldn't get it up and got everything in the divorce settlement." All jokes aside, sexuality is pretty much the core thing in any romantic or marital relationship.

Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. We think we are using sex for pleasure, but I think the reality is more that the sex is using the pleasure to trick us into reproducing-- with all the personal inconveniences and losses of liberty that involves. And while we like to say, "Nah, not me, my vision's clear enough," we have to accept that the thousands upon thousands of cautionary tales walking around out there started with someone else saying exactly the same thing. I think the ascetics have it right-- only by completely subjecting the body to the will can one really have liberty. RE: Discussion w/ a Theist RE: Premarital Sex

Plenty of animals, including of course humans, have sex for other reasons including pleasure, but chief among them, especially with such great apes as bonobos (where about 60% of sexual contact is female-female), is social bonding.

Yes, but bonobos presumably aren't devastated by an unexpected pregnancy, and don't have to travel to blue states in order to get bonobo abortions. They probably won't lose the chance to go to bonobo universities, get bonobo jobs, and fully enjoy their bonobo lives. If any of those things were true, then a bonobo might also want to think about whether sex at a young age is really worth it. Yes, unprotected heterosexual sex leads to these things in humans. But that doesn't make premarital sex bad as long as you know what you're doing. Besides, what is your solution here? Mine would be more education.

And medical tests before marriage. You're kidding, right?!? It's better to get a divorce than to just get get a little pussy action? Benny, that's just fucked up. And yeah, I'm sure medical tests are gonna happen before marriage. 'Cause that's the first thing young 20-somethings think. Oh, my cock never got hard even though I've never seen her naked. Must be something medically wrong with me. Uh-huh. I won't buy music I've never heard, movies I've never seen or a car I've never driven. Why in the hell would I marry a person I've never fucked?!?
