I actually have heard both words, chickpeas and garbanzo beans. I just never knew what they were. They look gross. Like brown hominy.

Grab a can of garbanzo beans next time you're at the store. They're relatively cheap so if you don't like it, it's not that much of a waste.

Some chickpeas. Very good for protein if you are a vegetarian, or a student who can't afford to put meat in all his meals whilst also drinking all the beer.
