Yeah, the main area that got hit was well to the south of me by about 30 miles. We had some steady rain over night and I woke up to a fairly good sized puddle in my back yard but nothing like what they got further south. All the local parks were flooded though because we have no drainage system out here. Rainwater which collects on the streets flows into the parks which are all cut into the ground about 8-10 feet down. It's a fairly effective system and when the water evaporates the grass in the park will be GREEN. The dogs love that.

The French had the right idea, orf with their heads! Actually what really pisses me off is that we got rid of them once and then invited the villains back. They're all foreigners too: Scotch, Dutch, German. Never an Englishman to be seen.
