I sure learn a lot here.
Had to look up what a hoon is. I think I left Hoonville as a teenager, but for sure, after my early 20s when my buddy and I used to play racer with motorcycles on the way home from work late at night. The VW was purposely made to be nearly police invisible and quiet . Besides, nobody races against what looks like a stock bug, and this one would tend to go sideways up to about 60 and second gear. Kind of unsafe and scary. |
