Shortly after 8:00 pm, here. Been out and about all day, saw no appreciable reduction in the local population and have come to one of two conclusions. Either A) Kerikeri is the most sinful place on earth and we all got 'left behind', or B) the professor's got his head so far up his arse that his breath smells like shoe polish.

After deep and careful consideration, I'm going with option B.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

(My phone's got a wicked sense of humour. As I was typing that last sentence, autocorrect was doing its job and suggesting likely words. It genuinely wanted me to say "they're all fucked".)
