the longest I've ever been sick was back in 2009. It lasted 3 weeks and I still don't know what it was, but I refuse to go to the doctor until the third week like a moron. Within a couple days I was feeling great, but immediate following I was sick with something even worse for yet another week. Apparently I had been so sick the first time that my body ended up catching a new illness while trying to recover from the original one. I thought I was dying. Damn. That sucked.

I didn't get what turned out to be a chest infection sorted for a few weeks. It came back at the same time for several years.
Any time a head cold lasts that long I always wonder about allergies. What's the pollen count in your area.
Sorry! I'd see the Doc. If you can't get an appointment right away Min's allergies idea is a good one and easy to test. Take antihistamines. If they work, you know. If they don't you got a bug.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
