How do you know you are not brainwashed?

It's brainwashing because adults rarely take up religion.

Most come to Christ as youngsters.

Just as most smokers do.

By the time you are older and wiser it's too late.

I don't. We are all brainwashed to a degree but its unintentional, it is just a result of our culture, like how us brits are so good at queueing. Christianity on the other hand, we know is a form of brainwashing, taking children before they can understand any of the concepts involved and drilling it into them, surpressing critical thinking skills and injecting the fear of hell to make it hard to leave.

I'll change my beliefs when there is evidence contrary to them.

I will not change my beliefs until there is evidence to prove I was brainwashed

Like offering our current social constructs which are outdated and in many cases harmful to society? Telling children to "grow-up, get a job, raise a family, etc..." Really? Are these things 'right' or are we just conditioning (brainwashing) our children to mimic our broken society?

Oh thats simple. There is no evidence of God's existence, yet you believe in one. So you got brainwashed into believing something that there is no evidence for.
