That is an opinion not shared by everyone. What makes it a human being?

No, it doesn't.

A single cell is not a human being.

Well I challenge you to go find proof to support that statement and present it here. As far as I can see the statement is true. My original source of peer reviewed backing has been removed. I'd be open to be corrected. I have no axe to grind here.

I would prefer that nether of these ever took place but I am just trying to create an image.
I disagree with abortion, perhaps more deeply than most people who do so, and not for religious reasons. I also disagree with stepping in the path of any being's course, and thereby disrupting it by the imposing of will upon that being. Let your god be the arbiter of these matters, and walk your path. Do not set a snare for your brothers and sisters, and thereby forfeit your own course (life). Be not anxious for tomorrow, for today has enough toil.

I have no idea what that means - as in Anne Coulter you mean Big Grin

ShaMan,I agree I probally should have not made up a new method, I really was trying to put forward that abortions make it to easy to kill someone without feeling the slightest bit of remorse or guilt.

It is to easy all you have to do is say yes and someone you have never met ceases to exist.

Yes Carm, it's just that easy for women to undergo an abortion, that's exactly what goes through their minds. It's not like they wrestle with guilt and uncertainty and anxiety and massive social stigma in some areas. It's just as simple as you said. Wonderful.

That is why I think it is wrong he murder of someone should never be easy.

That is why I said "Let you god be the arbiter". Who are you to bear the gavel of supreme judgment? I am sure it is not "easy" for the women who experience an abortion.

A close personal friend of mine had two abortions in her late teens. She is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known, and she has a true heart of gold. She has told me that she often gets visits from her aborted children while she is dreaming. It's been 16 years since her abortions, and I can tell you that it's not easy for her.

Really? How so?

Yea and until I experience it I will never know. (I am absolutly sure this will never happen, firstly I am a male)

I agree I am sure it is not easy I just pray that there would be more willing couples prepared to adopt children so the mother's have an other option other than an abortion.
