There isn't a part of the body that isn't connected to the system.

Thank you for your patience....

But if I were to make a system out of different diameter pipes, similar to the body, And then attach a pump... how would I stop a build up of crud at the extremities of my system?

You tell us.

And anyway, what crud?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Crud generally means waste, so like the stuff that builds up in the pipes and causes blockages.

So what I mean is if say, you pump water with a huge pump along highways, so that your feed goes down attached high streets, and into attached local roads, and into side streets, and up peoples' driveways, how can you expect all the water to come back from every driveway to be pumped again?

RE: Blood...
I know what crud is. The only waste that blood encounters is carbon dioxide and it releases that through the lungs. If you're talking about fatty deposits, well that's where diseases like arteriosclerosis come in; and the 'design' as it is right now can't cope with that.

And as I said, the entire system is circulatory, meaning it all goes one way and joins back up on the way to the heart.

No, I'm asking how does all of the blood in every extremity get returned to the heart?

He's told you twice - circulatory - circulate - circle. It isn't like a dead end street. More like a roundabout.

Why have you got it in for me? Go away ffS! ;o)

If you read my analogy of the road network... motorway/A road/main road/ local road/cul de sac/driveway. How is that circular?
