pretty much if i see my friends and family together ill be happy because at least i know some one or some people i know would be there.
a all loving god shouldn't punish people with hell that's not love. what i believe god for a lack of a better word doesn't love everyone.
but hell again is made up so i have nothing to worry about.

Ironically, I have had an online discussion with a couple of Muslims who told me the same thing about their god. I just had to read their holy scripture and believe.



Actually, Christian are supposed to always give a polite answer to questions. 1 Peter 3:15

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,"

I am not certain that dodging the question by telling people to read scripture is what Peter meant. There is nothing wrong with saying, "I just don't know."

Seriously, though, if us being in eternal jeopardy is "no skin off your butt", then what is your motive in continuing to point out how we're all condemned to hell? The message has been received, so there is no need to keep going on about it.

The thing that makes me most sad is the fact that their search for an eternity in a fictional after-life is keeping them from helping us prolong this one.

I'm fairly certain that the human lifespan would have been made much longer by now through scientific advancements were people not so damned content with dying.

I mean, it's okay to be fine with death.

But what I'm talking about the ironic fact that theists are actually hoping wishfully for an eternal life. Efforts would be much more productive in the world that actually exists.
