I'm brining a turkey as we speak. I got the fresh green beans and collard greens from the local farmers market. I got the corn for my corn pudding, the russets for my mashed potatoes, and beer---oh, wonderful beer. My brother and his wife are coming up from Birmingham. It's gonna be a good Turkey Day.

I will probably barbecue this year. I am in my house by myself, and I like it.

As for me, I'm chilling right now, watching YouTube videos, and hanging on various chatrooms and forums. I hope to contribute more cerebral discussion to atheistforums.org soon.

I love you so much. Lol.... I am the same way.
Blasphemers!!! Stuffing with gravy is why God created Thanksgiving. Eat your stuffing, it isn't worth going to hell over.

Right there with you on brining the turkey. But the only other dishes we share are mashed potatoes and green beans. We'll have baked yams (not candied), creamed onions, cranberries sauce (from scratch and served hot), homemade crescent rolls, and green salad. Champagne or sparkling cider to drink (depending on the age of the drinker).
Cherry pie and pumpkin pie for dessert.
Day after is turkey enchiladas which I think is the best of the left-overs. That we have with beer.
---- Is corn pudding a separate dish or a stuffing?
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

It's a separate dish. I made my stuffing yesterday. I'd put my stuffing (my grandma's recipe) against anyone's.
I took a swing and am making pumpkin cheesecake for dessert this year. I want something different.
And, Jenny, open faced turkey sammiches are the best thing with turkey leftovers. This is an objective fact. I bought about 5 more pounds of turkey specifically for that purpose.

I'm watching more YouTube videos. A bit of Karen Straughan tonight, "the perils of an ideological approach".
I've been reading some stuff on philosophy, Stoicism and CBT. Fun stuff.
For food I've had some Jamaican-style patties. Yummy.

Contemplating my death.
It is going to be good!
Might take me a while to achieve this though
