There isn't a single party that has a monopoly on racists. I know racists who vote as Democrats, Republicans, and Libertarians. I live in Mississippi so believe me when I say I know racists.

Yet the police arrests anti facist protesters for protesting at a kkk rally. And every single time Republicans are in lock step behind the KKK, the nazis, the white supremacists. I really can't believe you would pretend to be oblivious to the history of The Southern Strategy and the time in which the Democrats and Republicans changes sides on the issue of civil rights. If you are being honest, you should be aware there was a massive electoral re-alignment during the 60's when the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act was passed in 64 and 65 respectively. Nixon successfully used The Southern Strategy to win over Dixiecrats and convert them to Republicans. Democrats, meanwhile, also changed sides and championed civil rights of minorities. The GOP WAS the part of Lincoln, past tense emphasized. It stopped being the Party of Lincoln during the 60s. To try to make an argument that appeals to history is at best ignorant and at worst dishonest. Yes, the Republican Party really is soaking in racism. It was hidden before 2008 but since the election of Obama, it's all come bubbling to the surface, producing a stink so pungent that it astounds me that so many people either can't or pretend not to smell it. Consider:
"No, it's not racism. It's because of Obama's radical policies!" the Republicans protest. Bullshit. Clinton raised taxes. Obama cut taxes. Clinton proposed socialized medicine. Obama proposed a modest reform based on the free market exchanges and mild regulations. W Bush lied us into a war. Obama may have lied about some people being able to keep their health care plan. We have recent presidents who have been further to the left or done things far more destructive to the country and not faced this level of disrespect and sabotage. There is absolutely nothing in Obama's center-right, heavily compromised and corporate-friendly governance that should drive the right wing in this country so insane that they are willing to sabotage the country just to oppose him. If such mild governance is enough to drive the GOP so crazy, they need to do their own mental health a favor and get out of politics until they can develop some stronger emotional coping skills.

Firstly, assuming that all Republicans are racist is fatuous. Secondly, conflating that with unsourced police actions is not only unsupported, it confuses the issue at hand. Thridly, you write "And every single time Republicans are in lock step behind the KKK, the nazis, the white supremacists" -- which means that one and only one example is needed to undercut your point. Weak argument, presented poorly. Finally, you completely ignored the point that not all racism is white-on-minority racism. If you'd like, I'll look up some instances for you; but I trust you see my point. RE: Are Republicans racist???

Are all Republicans racist? Probably not.
Are many of them? Unequivocally. Is racism a foundation upon which many of the Republican Party's policies are constructed? There can be no question about it.
