you know when he wins the case he has the power to forcefully reform how the church operates as he could have died during
that exorcism they were doing. physical and mental abuse trauma and also battery and kidnapping charges and a long list of everything.
his parents will face child abuse charges and oh boy so his siblings are getting abuse charges as well. and if you look at this from a perspective
this really shows how fucked up a belief system really is. religion in whole isn't like this sure there is some rare few churches who are against what
they did and accept all people. but just this is why religion is dying people like that who do these sorts of things that well atheists can just sit back and watch and maybe jump in.

Your world view is far too simplistic to address reality. The facts are much more complex than this, but you'll never see the facts until you tear your blinders off. Atheists are equally liable to the various human foibles. Atheism doesn't impart any magical immunity to bullshit thinking, violent urges, or any other human weakness.

Such smug complacency is something I'd expect to read from a theist, and we'd laugh our asses off as we tore it apart with historical counterexamples. That you, an atheist, should be mouthing such tripe perfectly illustrates my point.

The one advantage atheists have over theists is that there isn't an atheist book that demands we act a certain way on punishment of horrible torment. When somebody like Stalin does something evil, we can blame Stalin. When someone like Hitler does something evil, we don't know if it was his religious book or his inner nature that made him that way. Surely he wouldn't have tried genocide if not for a book that demands you kill nonbelievers.

neither we pray or use faith or go waste our lives on Sunday in a place with other people. Oh hey look the game is on its Sunday oh hey i have to go to church oh wait i don't i'm an atheist.

No, he hasn't, because he's being a hypocrite. He cheerfully endorses the idea of this exorcism victim suffering eternal torment in hell for being gay. His god explicitly calls for homosexuals to be murdered. If this exorcism has no place in Christianity, it's only because they believe that the victim deserves much worse than an exorcism.
