No matter how good my high school basketball skills were, there is no way I can "reasoned/logic" myself a favorable outcome against Kobe Bryant.

Lucifer, being the extremely powerful, knowledgeable being that he is, would be well aware of his skill level against God.

Sorry, but your ad-hoc excuses for the holes in the plot of your mythology are far from convincing.

What if Kobe was sick, or really old? Would your failed skills at basketball prevent you from beating a sick has been? what if you spent a lot of time with Kobe (idk say something close to eternity past) In All that time you do not think you could devise a strageity to beat or exploit a perceived weakness?

All my 'ad hoc excuses' need to work is an excess of pride per drysdale's example and a desire to exploit perceived weakness.

What is Soooo hard to understand about that?

I'm not sure what you are asking
I was not asking anything. It was not a question. It was a statement.

He wanted to be God, he was not happy serving God. He wanted to be served.
So you have no problem being a slave. (Again, statement)

Are you suggesting that Lucifer thought god was sick and old?

If we humans, who have never stood in the physical presence of this god understand that the Christian deity is supposed to be all powerful and all knowing, wouldn't Satan be even more aware of his master's power?

How could an all powerful, non human entity seem sick or old to Lucifer? I assumed that Christians envisioned their god as a spirit without a physical body.

Yeah....

God was no longer in his prime when Satan rebelled.

That must be it.

Come on Dritch, you can't really believe your own crap, can you?

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

At some point in gods intelligent design phase it had to decide to allow or not to allow those things, right?

It could have left those out and us mere mortals would have no knowledge of them.

or it could of just created us all in heaven.

In paradise lost there is a scene where all the demons have gathered after pulling themselves out of the lake of fire. One of the demons argues for appeasement, that they ask god for forgiveness. Another one says something I liked, why should they go back only to be slaves and servants.

Humans don't like to be slaves. We don't like to be servants. And I've reminded myself of the menagerie.
I'll be watching Star Trek if you need me.

Look at drys-dale's last post, he reasoned out a favorable outcome.

Satan must be a fundamental idiot then, if he wanted to deceive an omniscient being. A nothing compared to Loki or the Titans, since they at least had a fighting chance.

What makes you think he tried to deceive God?

Most don't even seem to notice, so why should I just because I know?
