Trump needs to STFU!
January 5, 2015 at 7:47 am
Last night on his shallow self promoting show "Celebrity Apprentice" the roadkilll hair man shamelessly promoted climate change denial.
This is the clip my Friend Brian Sapient got from the show posted at his FB page....

You may have to scroll down to get to the clip.
If you would like to take the time to tell Trump to stop selling lies and dumbing down society, here is that idiot's twitter page.

Yes that is the Brian Sapient, who did the Blasphemy Challenge and also debated Banana Man Ray Cumfart(yes I spelled that right) on NightLine.
He has also been kind enough to allow me my own poetry thread which is also in the link in my sig.
Brian is a very important part of the online atheist voice.

Ok so which aspect of climate change did Trump deny. Was it the effects due to the human impact? That one's dicey. For example the earth does experience climate change all on it's own. It's natural. It's identifying the human role that's problematic.
8000 years before Jesus, the Egyptian god Horus said, "I am the way, the truth, the life."

Bullshit, and I will not be nice about this.
Our planet's natural changes are not the issue. 99.9% of Climate scientists are telling us our mass amount of green house gasses are a direct result of burning fossil fuels. THAT IS NOT IN DISPUTE.
Corporate crap is what kept lead in gas. Corporate crap is why tobacco companies were able to keep the dangers of smoking from the public. Corporate crap is why Nadar had to drag the car companies to do the right thing.
And the stupid part of your argument is that it still should not matter even if it were in dispute, WHICH IT IS NOT. We still have better energy technology in any case. Burning fossil fuels today is like insisting on using rotary phones in an age of cell phones.
We are damaging our planet with the amount of CO2 and methane gas we burn. Corporate bullshit is simply greed and excuse to keep polluting.
GREED is why we are still burning fossil fuels and our species and life on this planet will be severely damaged if not wiped out if we do not stop what we are doing.
AND
http://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/
NOW,
The problem with Trump doing what he did is that it he was playing off the fear of gullible people first and foremost. Secondly, "it's cold right now" as a comment is bullshit. It is like looking out the window, seeing rain and assuming because you see rain locally outside your window it must be raining everywhere.
Climate change is REAL and the bullshit trying to equate our pollution as having no affect on what the planet would do naturally on it's own, is a lie perpetuated by big fuel companies to justify their own greed at the expense of the planet.

Lol, no it's not dicey. The human role obviously consists of putting huge amounts of co2 in the atmosphere. We know very well what co2 does physically, the only thing we don't know is how much of its effect can be absorbed/compensated by the environment and for how long.

Seriously, climate scientists are not in dispute that we are making things worse. We need to stop burning green house gasses, the sooner the better.
