ISIS is not an islamic cult... no he's going to have to clear that one up. They are just calling themselves Islam, but aren't really?

Civility isn't about censorship, civility is what you do in the face of being offended.

And no, this is not just about Islam, this goes for Jews and Christians and Buddhists as well. We all have to live with being offended. 7 billion people cannot be forced to only say nice things about each other. We can however, insist on non violence when we are offended.

They need to grow the fuck up. Remember what I said about religion regressing you to childhood? To be fair, even a child wouldn't usually try and kill you for making fun of their parents in a cartoon. So they are regressed even further than that.

We don't see the same thing from Catholics when we represent "slutty" Catholic Nuns, or even from Jews when we see anti-semitic slogans (and anti-semitism is far worse than drawing Mo-Mo, come on). Should we call it "Muslim terrorism"? That is a true statement, but too narrow. This is "religious terrorism". Every person who governs their lives according to superstition gives legitimacy to those who would kill in defense of a superstition.

Also we need to remember that these guys are still out there. They haven't been caught, and the carnage might just keep on coming if they decide they want to die for their cause.
