I am more than willing to jump into the comments section and tell that person right where to fuck off. I'm sure many of us are.

Unfortunately, this is something Atheists face everyday. Sure it hurts and it's incredibly insulting, but at times like these try and hold your head up high. You're brave enough to face the world with YOUR opinions, not some bullshit inflicted on them at birth. Rock on!

Seriously, let me at 'em!

Everyone dies, it's just some people are grown up about it.

Relax, enjoy life, eat junk food, eat Michelin-Star food, drink, watch TV, climb mountains, swim, surf, walk, fly, read, laugh, cry, love but don't get caught up waiting for life to get better because you don't get a second bite of this cherry - this is not a rehearsal.

MM

Great advice, I can only add to politely suggest that they go fuck themselves. And if they are truly Christian, fucking themselves would be a sin under the masturbation clause.
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

Thank you, Maine, for not breaking the rules. Just hang in there, and you'll be able to post links before you know it. If you become a regular member, we'll be happy to see your videos Smile

I haven't read any of the responses yet but a young man who is like my son had the exact same thing happen to him.

He is bipolar and has had moments of suicidal depression. When he was younger, there was a very religious girl who had a very strong crush on him. She hinted strongly that she would have liked him to view her as more than a friend but he felt her beliefs were a little too extreme for him.

Fast forward to when the young man is around 22. He works but lives at home. Occasionally, he has dated but he isn't seem interested in a long term relationship. The young man is very open with the fact that he doesn't want to ever marry or have children. He is a sweet guy and always ready to help anyone who needs help.

The religious girl married and had a baby but continued to talk with the young man. She began to push him to find a girl and settle down. I have no idea why she seemed so obsess with the fact that he just wants to date. He is happy and, like I said, a nice guy. Apparently, she annoyed him because he jokingly told her that he would just marry his game system. Her husband contacted my friend and told him that he was a loser who should just kill himself. Both he and his wife know that this young man suffers from bouts of depression. The husband also said something to the effect that his wife couldn't talk to her friend again. The couple are very loud about their faith in Jesus.

Anyway, I can relate to the shock that you must have felt. I still want to find that woman and her husband and shake them both. Hearing that you experienced something similar makes me angry all over again.
