I think were talking civilization here, in the event of an apocalypse, commerce wouldn't be taking place, so of course gold goes out the window, unless you use it as ammo I guess. Your perceived morals will also go out the window. do you trust anyone enough to trade with em? or do you kill them and take their stuff before they do it to you?

Shouldn't those last two questions be easily answerable in the affirmative for anyone who isn't in a cage or a padded cell?

Is that what you would do in an apocalypse, throw out your perceived morals and go on a paranoid raiding spree?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

SOW you were right. Still waiting for the answer to my question about proving via testing and the Scientific Method that sin is real. C'mon huggy, throw me a bone here and respond.

Truthfully, I wouldn't know until I'm put in the situation, but I can honestly say I don't fear death, so I don't see a reason I would act differently than I do now.

Do you, now...go on paranoid raiding sprees? Allow me to be so generous as to propose that if it aint your bag now..it wouldn't turn into your bag when the zombies start. I think that your confidence in your personal appraisal of the matter is warranted. Which is why it was strange to see you suggest that some other person(or group of persons)...not currently engaged in paranoid raiding sprees.....might toss out their morals and entertain the notion. Eh?

*-do you know anyone currently engaged in paranoid raiding sprees?

In case you couldn't tell, I was being facetious.

I'm basically saying that testing requires you to actually die, but then you're the only one that will know the results of that test.

So, it's not testable then? Just a long winded way of saying "nope"..isn't it?

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

Hey, if you say so, I don't know what kind of repressed urges you harbor. I can only speak for myself with any real certainty. Confusedhrugs:

Maybe your morals will go out the window; mine won't.

Probably because I've based my morals on reason and empathy, rather than a fictional monster.
