Oh hai!
March 24, 2015 at 11:21 pm
Hello everyone. I was looking for another very active atheist forum to subscribe to that I might enjoy, and obviously, I've found one. Teehee.
At first, I'll probably just spend most of my time lurking.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors, | As I foretold you, were all spirits, and | Are melted into air, into thin air; | And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, | The cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces, | The solemn temples, the great globe itself, - Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve, | And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, | Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff | As dreams are made on, and our little life | Is rounded with a sleep. - Shakespeare

Is that a Seuss reference?!?!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Awesome! I love it. Are you a Zook or a Yook?

Welcome, butterbattle.

Hmmm, it makes more sense to eat toast with the butter side up, imo, since if my butter is on the bottom, I run the risk of a little bit of butter dripping off. And it would be a tragedy if I was to accidentally splash a drop of butter on anything except toast, soiling it. So, I am a yook.
Unless...I interpret your question in more of a metaphorical sense. In that case, I suppose I empathize with the zooks as well.
