How about the fact that a bunch of trigger happy sociopaths in little blue uniforms with thoroughly ventilate you if found to be in the act of killing babies?

Little children have not learned to be guileful. They are humble.
To be "Childlike" carries a different connotation than "Childishness".

I was thinking about this thread and my buddy at work came to my mind.
We were considering one of the wise asses there,who we deal with, and Scotty said,
"I think I may be smarter than I actually am, and sometimes find out that I might be.

Aside from having one of my own, I lead a Girl Scout troop of 14 girls, and volunteer at the local school twice a week. I've also actually taught art class to grade school age kids for 2 years (another volunteer position).
Children are full of guile by the age of 2 or 3 at the LATEST! And I'm not making it up. Studies show that children start to learn to lie at 6 months old, about. Ever see a one year old pretend cry, stop, look around to see they have any attention, then cry louder? Yes, little children are guileful, and some are very able liars, tricksters, and masters of manipulating adults. And this isn't just some kids, this is just how human children are.
One more point docked from your holy book for "God" completely misunderstanding how his own creations function (yet again).
So are only under 6 month old babies really safe from hell then? Once they learn guile and the first time they trick or lie to their parents, they are then fully accountable to God, right?
I mean, God did kill all the firstborn Egyptian kids, some of those were very little. Did they go to heaven or hell, since their parents were not believers and neither were they? What about the older kids, then, the 12 and 13 year olds, surely even by your messed up measure, they are old enough to be held accountable. Did god kill a bunch of kids, condemning most or all of them to hell, himself? Well shit, it looks like in your story book that yes, yes he did!

Very worth watching.
I know someone mentioned it earlier, but we have good evidence that just 100 years ago, the average person had an IQ of about 70, and were unable to think about things abstractly or to be able to consider hypotheticals in a logical way.
It is likely that our IQ's had gone up some in the previous 2000 years as well, as the reason it is proposed to have gone up is how cognitively demanding professions and access to education that have raised ours. So in a world where most people are rural farmers, fishermen, and had no access to even basic education outside of learning a trade (and few even had that), then yeah, I can easily imagine that the average IQ 2000 years ago was 60 to 70, compared to today.

I told you earlier that we are held accountable to what we know, and children are no different- where there is no law (like in children) there is no failure possible. Children go to heaven.

As for those killed by the angel of death- the Pharaoh decreed it on himself.
