United Arab Emirates wants to go to space but...
How will they fast or conduct Salat in space since there's no sunrise or sunset? Anyway, really cool video. It's always nice to see some more people serious about going to Mars.

Edit: Just to clarify I know the video I linked doesn't mention humans going to space but I know the U.A.E. is a country with lots of big ambitions. Muhammadan astronauts have gone to space before and it shows Muhammad didn't predict space travel. Like all religions, Muhammad's one is created only for people here on Earth and falls apart the moment we leave the Earth.

Dude, they won't be sending a man to the space. They will launch a flying object, it will be operated from the control room in UAE. The reason why is because EXPO 2020 will be held in Dubai, so they want to be the leading Arab nation in technology and future inventions.

I know, but in future they will want to. If memory serves, I read some 'scholars', issued guidelines for astronauts. So basically, they just twist the Quran a little bit, and:Viola!

Who cares, Human's can fast anytime they want. This is the issue with Islam, there ridiculous believe is if someone didn't fast Ramadan, he will not be forgiven by God. But, if you see where is the hypocrisy... they come up with another explanation by saying that you don't need to fast in case if you were travelling.

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz of KSA went to the moon in 1985, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sultan_bin_Salman_Al_Saud

Look again at your own link.  He did NOT go to the moon.

I have studied the biography of all Saudis kings and prince back when i was in Saudi Arabia. I am not sure if it was a bullshit or not, but this what i was taught.

And, everyone back then acknowledged the facts. maybe i was deceived, dunno! the media like to claim "He was the first Arab and Muslim to fly in outer space"

As he says in the video, he flown on the space shuttle.

Yeah, I see, he indeed went to space, but only a few hundred kilometers up with the shuttle like every other astronaut since 1973. The moon is a thousand times that distance!

He may have gone to space.
Going to space is not that special, I think a backstreet boy went as well.
But he did not go to the moon.
