In Ocarina of time that would be the good ending for link but in Majora's mask is the opposite were link failed so does that mean link is dead sitting in limbo?

I haven't played the CDI games. they are bad, noncanon, and I'd prefer that they were forgotten.
It's actually theorized that Link in MM is actually dead.

But isn't Termina a parallel world because i just remembered the forest scene the forest leads to a world in turmoil I.E. Termina
so he might not be dead he is just on the other side in a other world.

Yes it's a parallel world, but lots of theories go around about the Zelda series. It's not always clear exactly what's going on.

I have played the original. I had the remake on a special Gamecube CD, but last year my place was robbed and I lost it. I've been playing Zelda since the NES days, and that was one of my favorites. Partly because it had a save file, which was rare back then. I could get five hearts, the white sword, and the blue ring before level 1. Pretty quickly too, from knowing where the two or three moblins are that will hand you 100 rupees each. Magic sword after level 4. Level 7 is a breather level, compared to 6.
I didn't play hard mode much.
