Have you ever defeated Ganondorf using the empty bottle trick in OoT?

No. I never tried anything silly like that while playing, and didn't have the internet at home until after TWW was out. So I didn't do the special tricks or glitches and stuff.

Incidentally, Twilight Princess was the first Zelda I got really hyped about, because it was the next console Zelda to come out after I joined Zelda Universe. Which I don't frequent anymore.

Ah, Twilight Princess...it remains my favourite of the series, and it was also the first one I was really excited for, as I was too young (according to my mother) for games when WW came out Rolleyes
If they released an HD remake I'd snap up a Wii U in a heartbeat, or whatever this new Ninty console is gonna be.

TP's not my fav. It's a good game, though it seems empty at times, and was quite linear. Mainly because I got so hyped that it was practically impossible for it to be as good as I thought it would be. I had gotten numb to how linear Zeldas had been getting, that it didn't bother me at all in Skyward sword. I just thought it was nice how enemies were dangerous in that game. They knew how to block, and I actually died sometimes. The new one, Link Between Worlds, is quite nice. One of the sages you rescue complains about how long you took to rescue her, and if she's the last one I rescue before Zelda, I can't really fault her for it. It makes me feel bad if I leave her for last, because aside from Zelda she has helped me more than anyone else.

After she turned back, she was hot to trot. Though I'm not sure if she has needle teeth like Zant or not. That would be a turn off.

This is like a different language.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Honestly, as much of a lady's man as Link is, I'm not sure which she you mean. Maybe Zelda. Maybe one of a dozen other girls. Link's a pimp. He gets all the ladies.

Zelda is awesome! What would you say are the qualities of the games which have made them such a success?

RE: Ask a Zelda Fan
The original game had a lot of exploration to it, and a nice selection of items. Later games expanded on the items, as well as the story, though they became more linear over time. The music in zelda has always been great. The story is good, though it doesn't get high priority. The games usually have a good mix of combat and puzzle solving, which is one of the core gameplay aspects, and the gameplay is probably the greatest strength of the games.

Interesting gameplay, great music, and good story/lore. It has a somewhat connected timeline, but the devs don't let that keep them from doing what they want to with a game. After all, they just came out with a sequel, featuring the master sword, to a game which states at the end that the master sword sleeps forever.
