Er..I don't think that was Old Nan..there's no feasible way Old Nan's body could've gotten to Braavos (or why it would've gone to Braavos when there are plenty of corpses right there in Braavos to use).
Fun fact though, both David Benioff and Dan Weiss (the writers of the show) have their faces in the wall.

I hate Jaime in Dorne, too. But the Arianne Martell/Aerys Oakheart storyline is too involved and secondary to be in the series. It was condensed into this farce with Jaime and Bronn vs the Sand Snakes and Areo Hotah. It has to be superficial, in order to set up what happens after the attempted "rescue" of Myrcella. I will be interested to see what happens to Jaime now.

Old Nan would have fled King's Landing when Ned's guard was attacked. She could have fled to Braavos. There is a scene in ADWD where The Blind Girl is attending to a corpse of an old woman who died with a smile on her face. She feels familiar and describes the old woman's skin in a way that Arya describes Old Nan's skin before.

Eh...according to the wiki Nan is being held as one of the Stark-loyalist hostages at the Dreadfort. According to Theon she's most likely dead. (Old Nan was never in King's Landing)

She was KL in the series. I mixed the book and series up there.
But the only reason Wiki places her at the Dreadfort is because GRRM mentions that the hostages from Winterfell were taken there. Not specifically Nan. She is clearly old and resourceful. It's a stretch and a half, but that face she touches really looked like the actress who played Old Nan.

It's the TV show, not the books...they could get Old Nan to Dorn if they needed her there.
It's just a cool thought anyway. Doesn't much matter if it was or not.

I think you're mixing up Old Nan with Septa Mordane, who was in KL and was killed (her head was on a pike next to Ned's).

Just for fun, I looked at the actress who played Old Nan (She's passed away now, but here she is in GoT's)
Then I found a good image of the face in the hall of faces that Arya is drawn to. Check time 1:32 below:
Look at the wrinkle above the nose and the shape of her chin and jowels. I think Steel Curtain is right....looks like the same person to me. It's hard to be certain with the closed ees and mouth and relaxed face made of wax vs a living person with face animate, but I think it is.
P.S. I looked at Septa Mordane...it's not her face at all, ver clearly NOT her face (her nose is much broader, and she has no jowls nor that wrinkle at the top of her nose). Also, Arya didn't like Septa Mordane much, she made her do needlework. She loved Old Nan.
Maybe they did it just in tribute to the dead actress who played Old Nan, as it makes little sense for her face to be there I agree, but I think it is all the same.
