I am new here. I am sure the majority will not desire to be very positive about any of my view points. I am fine with that. From what I have read, no one is getting a blue ribbon for being here as to one way or another for "popularity".
I have no axe to grind for those that have no faith or belief in God, or the Bible or anything else connected. I do find it odd that so many individuals here have outward hate for the Bible, Christians, or religion. So I will read and see what different viewpoints or beliefs may be far from what I do, without having to engage in some senseless hostility.
No God, then no chicken and for sure, no egg!

Welcome aboard.
Maybe you could create your own intro thread, so we could all greet you....?
Anyway, you'll find that most atheists around here have no hate towards the book, nor most believers... it's just the ones that perpetuate the false belief that they are the sole holders of a piece of information (the truth ) which is demonstrably beyond their reach... even those don't get much hate... just contempt or disdain.

from the UK. I normally offer tea and biscuits but since you're a 'Howdy!' kind of fellow, I'll make it something a little stronger. Can I interest you in a nice cup of Horlicks?

Hello. That is all fine and good, if one is truly here to learn. For any believer who is truly interested in learning about and from the non-religious community, I suggest reading secular/freethought/ atheist literature from as many of non-theist websites as you can. And if you care to, look up any secular groups in your area, go to meetings, meet and get to know atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, etc., etc. You don't have to agree with us, but as a citizen of whichever country you live in, you at least owe it to your fellow citizens who are non-religious to better understand and get along with.

Is that anything like prune juice?

Lol, no. It tastes like hot milk only more malty. I really can't think of anything less likely to be classified as a warrior's drink.
