Which do you think would be more fair to women? To allow them to be treated as slightly less then men, by giving them a pass where one wouldn't to a man, and by being extremely careful not to incidentally disrespect one, again, where you wouldn't be just as much so in a conversation with a man, or by actually treating them as people, with no ethically targeted gender-based special treatments?

Why are you being so feminist about this? What does it matter if I am being mysoginistic[which I'm not, of course]? Would you be as up in arms over instances of misandry? What is, after all, the essential difference between men and women? Oh, if only it was something to be overlooked[mostly] in a civilised society, but especially over the internet.../sarcasm

ExcitedPenguin, I have seen multiple men on this forum say far far harsher things to you than Becca and I ever even came close to, and watched as you responded to us both in a much angrier, more disrespectful and hostile way than the male forum members. Over completely minor things, too... and many times over nothing at all.

I'm sorry but you really do seem to have a chip on your shoulder in regards to women, and the more you post around here, the more that shows.

I do not accept your tone, regardless of who you are, as I think it is uncalled for.

My insults are never overreaching. I only express myself like that wherever I detect hypocrisy and unfounded agressiveness towards myself, be it of the passive kind or any other. I never do more than what has been done to me, in turn. If one would pay attention or one would be able to, one would notice this fairly easily.

I am not going to accept stupidity under no circumstances - if you don't like how I address your own , whoever you may be, be advised not to speak to me at all.
Don't try to restrict my free speech, by claiming to take umbrage at my remarks. I think I have already adressed every other point that may be called for herein. If there's any other questions, don't hesitate to ask them, but keep an eye out for statements devoid of meaning or false, unsupported accusations stemming from low self-esteem.

Anyone can play the gratuitous card of the victim. Some choose not to though, as it is archaic to do so if you have nothing show for it. You might learn something from those kinds of people[not addressing anyone in particular anymore, only those who know this might concern them]. This is a free piece of advice. Don't skip it.

We make speech pretty damned free around here, but if you continue to treat the forum and its members like crap, your free speech will have to go elsewhere as you will be banned. This is a discussion forum; not one for "excited_penguin" to bring in a soapbox, so stop trolling and stop flaming. That's my advice as a member. Don't make me go green.

I have never trolled. If I were to guess, this marvelous idea came to you when I made the suggestion that one might think so about me, earlier on.

I haven't flamed more so than the rules allowed, barring one minor incident which has already been brought to my attention.

I don't care for your advice as a member, as it is idiotic.
