Was Jesus' sacrifice really a sacrifice at all?

Seems to have your attention doesn't it. Jesus was not a freeloader and if you think you can carry this father go ahead. Remember the fish and the coin.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

According to your silly books - the only place where he exists, btw - the bum never worked a day in his life. Good xtians would have no use for that guy these days.

Your words and I think "freeloader" is the proper description.

With Christ money was no issue, He had Peter to pick a fish from the water and take the coin out of it's mouth for the temple tax. Wonder how He knew it was there. You need to study the beatitudes.

Of course not. He loafed all day and got other fools to put him up for the night and feed his traveling gang of merry men.

Really. How long do you think a scam like that would last? Someone had to catch on sooner or later and tell him to take his sorry ass out on the road.

Let's see you feed 5000 and say it's not work, Jesus did not need the help of others He graciously accepted their love.

I love the way theists like to rant about how much the fictional lord suffered for mankind, enduring the ass whipping he got from the Romans and then being crucified. He did not even last long on the cross it is said that some people lasted days, the good mighty lord lasted about three hours (what a pussy)! Even Pilate was astonished that he died so quickly! Pilate, astonished that he should have died so soon, summoned the centurion and enquired if he had been dead for some time. Mark 15:44 NJB

The two thieves that were crucified next to Christ suffered more than he ever suffered, not to mention that after they were dead they then had to have their legs broken according to tradition. Everyone who was murdered during the inquisition made the crucifixion of Christ pale in comparison. They endured all sorts of torture at the hands of the "holy church" and then were burned alive at the stake.

Not to mention that the story then goes on to say that the good lord came back from the dead and hung around for another 40 days, until he had to float up into the sky to reclaim his throne in heaven. ' It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown' is more believable than the entire bible and all of its tales.
There is nothing people will not maintain when they are slaves to superstition

BTW, another piece of bullshit which makes no sense.

A gathering of 5,000 people could scarcely have escaped the attention of Roman authorities yet your fables have Pilate asking, basically, "who is this fucking guy?"

BTW, you do know this story has its roots in the OT.

Quote:2 Kings 4:42-44 (New International Version)

Feeding of a Hundred
42 A man came from Baal Shalishah, bringing the man of God twenty loaves of barley bread baked from the first ripe grain, along with some heads of new grain. “Give it to the people to eat,” Elisha said.

43 “How can I set this before a hundred men?” his servant asked.

But Elisha answered, “Give it to the people to eat. For this is what the LORD says: ‘They will eat and have some left over.’” 44 Then he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the LORD.

Or perhaps you don't.

Jesus' sacrifice involved more that just the physical suffering he endured. For a time he took all our sin and guilt and was separated from God as a result. That is why he cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" This might not seem like much to us because we are all guilty of sin and being separated from God is normal for us but Jesus was sinless and had always enjoyed perfect fellowship with the Father so this was completely new to him. Since we have never experienced sinlessness we can't fully comprehend what Jesus would have to suffer from having out sins placed on him.
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Romans 1:20 ESV

You're blatant and intentional ignorance is astoundingly hilarious, Min.

What pity grown men can sprout such doggerel in earnest.
