Theists never answer that one properly. What did jesus sacrifice?
Sacrifice is fucking ridiculous anyway.

True, but each of us to a different extent. I once shared a table with a girl in an art class who took all of the supplies from the middle of the table and piled them on her lap and the floor next to her and a bit of the table in front of her. Most people are capable of at least sharing that which they are not using. Some of us can easily share things we are using/wanted to use. People like that are called gracious, though we are (of course) all motivated by what we wish to occur.
Had Jesus been more gracious, his story would be less repulsive for me.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Why do you believe that Christ was not gracious, He gave of Himself in life and death, Christ in His ministery depended on others for food and a place to rest which He always received. Christ's love was given in healing, teaching peace, restoring peoples lives from death and ect. Grace could not have been more apparent in His life. Christ was selfless He never took and always gave.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Yawn. Because it was not gracious. The character you imagined giving his life either had the theory of sacrafice falsified by his resurrection, in which case he gave nothing, or he really died, in which case what he might have given is completely unexceptional in human history and not worth a foot note to a foot note. His beatitudes, if he actually taught at all, were a series of crudely plagerised platitudes whose originals had been in reasonbly common circulation in more civilized parts since before there was was a david. It appeared inspired only to his yokel apostles and their yokel spiritual descendants. Grace is only apparent to those who would see his face in a piece of burnt toast or in a mildew stain on a crumbling wall. It is a trite and tiresome joke to any but the farcically gullible. Santa clause always gave also. But that does not make him real.

Because He suffered horribly. Ah, but the point was he hasn't suffered as bad as some others have. Take a gander at this torture and execution device:

Or can you go inside the mind of Jesus and experience the same things that he experienced when he was alive? Of course, the answer is no.
You're not defending the Christian theology very well are you?

That makes him little more than a freeloader. Sure you want to go there?

You have no idea where there is or what's there once you arrive.
