Kent Hovind challenges Thunderf00t to a debate!

Seriously, though: what does everyone think? Is Thunderf00t the best person to engage in this? If a debate is to happen, who would you like to see doing it?

Personally, I think he's done sterling work dismantling Hovind's videos, but for me he comes across as somewhat out of his depth in live exposure to presups and Gish Galloping literalists. It'll be painful to watch, but entertaining. If Hovind doesn't bail, of course.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm torn. On one hand, creationist arguments need to be shown for the lies they are. Not sure tfoot would be the best person to do that, don't know about his qualifications or anything, but whatever. OTOH I feel like debating creationists gives them a feeling that their delusion has any validity in real life Undecided

If tfoot could keep his cool and not stutter it would be great. Of course even if tfoot was got a lobotomy he would still kick his ass. I think it will be hilarious.

If thunderf00t turns him down, perhaps we can arrange a wrestling match between Hovind and a grizzly bear, or maybe a giant octopus.

I'd pay good money to see that. Hovind should give that some thought, I mean he's gotta be a bit hard up for cash since the IRS seized damn near everything he owned and couldn't hide.

Better a layperson than a scientist; if a layperson can know more science than even a "scientific" Creationist, as Hovind claims to be, it is a more-resounding defeat. Frankly, I think Thunderf00t could have stopped at the video posted above! Heh.

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
