Yep. There are a few caveats, however.

With win 10 the revert back to  win 7 is a one click automatic solution.

Really??? I'm just surprised Microsoft would let you off the hook so easily once they've got you Wink

Yep.   There are a few caveats, however.

Right, okay that seems to explain it pretty clearly; either do it within a month and it will revert back easily because the old OS files are still stored on the drive, or do it after a month - when it has deleted those files - and download an ISO from MS for the OS of choice and reinstall. It's almost worth it just for the fact that if you downgrade, MS will ask you why  Wink

So what do you like most about it then, CD?

Honestly, in terms of advantages over 7, continued feature development is about it for me. There's no "I gotta have it" features that I'm aware of.

Okay that's good enough for me - I think I'll give it a go but I'll make sure I'm all backed up first. Thanks CD  Smile

Oh by the way CD, what will happen to my existing software when I upgrade? Does it manage to keep it or is it going to overwrite everything as if it was a install from scratch?

It'll all still be there.

95% of everything will work as normal.
2 things to be aware of is if you logon with a new login you may have to reset permissions on some files, eg pst's, etc. Also, tv usb type dongles won't work. And no mediacenter.

I've used Windows 10 for a while now. Only a few small things that I'm be annoyed with, like you can't create a shortcut unto the desktop from the Start menu (right-click and drop). Otherwise it seems stable and like a successful mesh of Windows 7 and Windows 8.
