Yep mentally your country is regressing, it used to be forward looking but now seems to be intentionally dumbing down and fighting against advances in morality and science, theism is a big part in that. There also seems tio be a movement that does not like elietist intellectuals and likes to vote in morons to power. I prefer my leaders to be smarter than me but americans......

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) vowed to tear up the Iran nuclear deal on his first day in office and threatened to kill the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, if he’s elected president.
The religious conservative crowd at the Values Voters summit lustily cheered his bloodthirsty comments during his appearance Friday morning at the annual event.
Cruz said he would “rip to shreds” the agreement approved by Congress, and he threatened to kill Iran’s leader if he did not give up his nuclear ambitions.

And of course the xtians ate it up.  They are as bad as Cruz.

The Iranian parliament has not inked the deal yet. So it's 'possible' the Iranians would tear up the deal.
