C'mon man, don't be harsh! It's not entirely his fault ...It was just that ...guns were pretty easy to get hold of!
No guns, 99% less gun related deaths deaths ... just ask Britain and Aus.
But we do realise this is a cultural thing, (like indoctrination). ...Therefore logic doesn't apply in an argument...
No God, No fear.

Except for the part where he thought it was a good idea to kill people for it.
Go fuck yourself.

Guess where I work. We were only officially warned at 3pm today which was the first I heard about it.
Online troll ‘threatened gun massacre at Edinburgh Uni’
Quote:Hours before the Oregon killing an anonymous user - believed to be Harper-Mercer - used online message board 4chan to warn of his shooting spree.
But just hours after the Oregon rampage on Thursday morning another anonymous poster used the same 4chan board to threaten to commit a copycat shooting at Edinburgh University.
Mimicking the original threat, a new post appeared featuring an image of a shotgun and the words: “Hark, my brothers, the Beta Uprising is finally here.
“Don’t go to University of Edinburgh tomorrow.
Not that anyone is in the slightest bit worried. We have strict gun and knife control laws here in the UK. I think everyone's just distracted by the sunny weather here. "Ooh the sun god has returned to us! Burn another sacrifice!"

Well, we're still under par from what I expected from the Christian fundies... but at least we're above zero. I'd hate to have my expectations completely shattered.
I can't think of one person here, even our angriest anti-theist, who fits that description.
Then again, I'm not an anti-atheist bigot, so maybe I'm just not imagining things enough.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

The news is now saying that the shooter was a Muslim convert. Anyone know if that's a spin -- anti-Muslim propaganda - - or truth? http://politichicks.com/2015/10/gotnews-...ld-muslim/

The guy was seriously disturbed, which developed a hate, which lead to a need to vent that hate that was eating at him, we do not yet know why he chose Christians though he did, it's sad he chose anyone though he did, and because he did innocent people died that should have been alive today, he is solely responsible for their deaths, not the gun or any other weapon he might have used. Today is a sad day for the families and friends of those who lost their lives and each of us here should be more concerned for them than any argument we perceive to be the cause, each of us should find in our own ways to take a little time and keep these people at heart, they are suffering greater than any of us as far as I know.
