Christmas has everything to do with christianity. We don't celebrate whatever the pagans celebrated on that day. We celebrate the birth of Christ on that day. What does it matter if it is on the same day that pagans celebrated something else? We could celebrate it on any day of the year that we wanted to.

Such as April 21st, for example, the birth date of Christ that many second and third century Christians ascribed to the king of God's city... Curiously also the date that Rome was thought to have been founded...
