I see. Well, if that was your point, then you're right. What was the argument about? (I missed a few pages)

basically this

Is there anything in the law that rewards good behavior? no.

Being a "saint" has nothing to do with "works".....

More importantly, how does the government recognize your law abiding citizen status?

By neither rewarding nor punishing me and treating me as a law-abiding citizen.
So the government does nothing to show you're special, that's my point.

You're not condemned for the act per se, you are condemned because you are a sinner. Rape and murder are not sins they are attributes of sin. Sin is unbelief.
Quote:Jude 5
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

The Hebrew definition for sin is to "miss the mark"
Quote:Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
It is impossible to please God without faith, therefore unbelief causes you to "miss the mark."

The bible states that the "Wages of sin (unbelief) is death". Death means separation.

So the payment for sin is to be eternally separated from God...

In your case, YOU claim not to believe in God, therefore you separate yourself from God and bring YOURSELF under condemnation. Can't blame that on God.

See, that's where we differ.  The system we have created does exactly what it was intended to do.  Oppress minorities....with the added throw-in that it makes a lot of money for criminal corporations!

If that's what it was designed to do, they wouldn't have needed to waste their money with lobbyists, or buying off politicians. I'd say they stole it, but of course they paid top dollar, so....that's not really going to stick, eh?

The cost of the lobbyists are a tax write off.  Believe me, they aren't losing a cent on this deal.

Sometimes, I think I may as well learn to love the bomb, and go position myself in the profit stream.  I could lobby for Big Ag like a fuckin bawss.

Then per se or not, the act is irrelevant. I'm labelled a "sinner" and dehumanised simply for not believing. So what's to stop me from adding to the charge? It's not as though the punishment is going to get more severe.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

What makes you think being a 'sinner' makes you a 'de-human?'

It only makes you not God. to be human is to sin.

I don't know that a person with such a low opinion of humanity can actually appreciate the meaning of the term "dehumanize". You'll forgive me if I don't consider you to be a reliable source for any information on the subject, yeah?

Because it's used in the same connotation as "gook", "commie", "insurgent" and the like. Giving the 'enemy' a label that removes their humanity makes them easier to visualise as targets. You only have to skim this board, or watch a few YT preachers, to see how this plays out in actuality.

That is a distinction without a difference. The "N" word you seem to be dancing around is an excellent example. If you can imagine the world was one single solarty race. what meaning would that word have? like wise if the whole world is sinful/Everyone a sinner, then the only people offended by the "S" word are those who believe they are without sin. It's like being upset at the term Homo sapien. Why would anyone be upset with that term unless they thought themselves to be something more?
