Exactly, murder is irrelevant, what matters is "jesus".
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Some day, in your wildest dreams, drippy, you might be able to show that your god exists to do anything. Right now you are just being your usually annoying and silly self.
Fuck off. And take your god with you.

The point being, no matter how you want to describe the pic, we both acknowledge that it is there. your preference for the use of the word sin is irrelevant. At some point in the catalog of all human behavior we will agree certain acts to be the work of an evil mind and heart, even if we can not agree on the terminology used to describe it. Bottom line will be that some humans will ultimately turn on others and do pretty sick things, and justify them with a different 'morlaity' than what you hold to. You can use whatever words you want to to describe this behavior, but again we both (as with the apple pic have to acknowledge it is there.
God has done the same exact thing with sin. He has found a common thread in our behavior that we all share and can do nothing about. this is sin. He sent his son to die for our sin so that we did not have to be held accountable to it. Those who embraced/loved their sin more than the one who died to provide a way out of sin, have been identified as evil. Evil determines it's own right and wrong. 'Evil' makes the sinner's sin 'moral' to the sinner. Just like the Paris attackers were justified by their morality, and they (the attackers) see what they did as being justified, those who do not repent of their sin also moralize their sin and fall into the same evil.
the only difference here is God selects the 'picture' of sin and evil. In the Bible sin is simply the act of refusing to do as you're told to do and not believing everything you've been told without exception. The main characters committed all kinds of heinous and immoral acts but they were not considered to be sinful because the God character told them to do those things. Some characters got into trouble when they used their own judgment and decided that those acts were wrong and refused to do them.
In today's society a person can't sin in a biblical sense because the God character doesn't exist and therefore can't tell you to do anything. And you can't cherry pick the Bible because it has examples of where people were blessed for committing immoral acts and atrocities.

The Tower of Babel narrative is the Yahwistic (in reference to the Yahwist document posited by the Documentary Hypothesis) tradition's explanation of why different languages exist. The Priestly tradition, on the other hand, explains this during the Table of Nations narrative, with the line 'These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.' (Genesis 10:31).
It's also the Yahwistic tradition that talks about Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and Yahweh's fear that if they eat from the Tree of Life, they will become like on of the gods.

Don't you know? Their technology was based on sticks, rope, and mud bricks. All traces of this society have faded to dust in time. That's why we can't find any evidence of it in the archaeological record!
You mean evidence like the great pyramid?
Your idiocy knows no bounds. What do you think the great pyramid has to do with technology capable of creating an inter dimensional gateway? *UPDATE*
It appears that mainstream science has finally caught up, seeing how none of you will accept anything unless mainstream science says so, I'm updating this thread.
I was ridiculed for suggesting that pre-antideluvian people were technologically advanced.
Well well well...
Study reveals the Great Pyramid of Giza can focus electromagnetic energy
Quote:An international research group applied methods of theoretical physics to investigate the electromagnetic response of the Great Pyramid to radio waves. Scientists predicted that under resonance conditions the pyramid can concentrate electromagnetic energy in its internal chambers and under the base. The research group plans to use these theoretical results to design nanoparticles capable of reproducing similar effects in the optical range. Such nanoparticles may be used, for example, to develop sensors and highly efficient solar cells. The study was published in the Journal of Applied Physics

So what were the second and third Giza Pyramids for? The ones without internal chambers? Or didn't these Russian hacks think of that?
Zahi Hawass had a great word for people like that: Pyramidiots.

Those pyramids were built much later...

No, they weren't.
And you apparently didn't hear the bimbo say "that assumptions had to be made...."
Pay attention, Huggy. Or go back to reading your stupid fucking bible.

Quote:The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering what is now El Giza, Egypt.
I have always maintained that the Great Pyramid preexisted the Egyptian civilization that built the other two.

Also, I see your attempts to obfuscate, but those 'assumptions' aren't what you're trying to imply.
From the previous article.
Quote:Due to the lack of information about the physical properties of the pyramid, we had to use some assumptions. For example, we assumed that there are no unknown cavities inside, and the building material with the properties of an ordinary limestone is evenly distributed in and out of the pyramid. With these assumptions made, we obtained interesting results that can find important practical applications," says Dr. Sc. Andrey Evlyukhin, scientific supervisor and coordinator of the research.
Like I've always said, you guys will accept science as long as it reinforces your world veiw...

Spare batteries.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
