Songs That Have Made You Cry

RE: Songs That Have Made You Cry
This one is from the video game Life Is Strange. It's playing right at the end of the game, in one of the two scenarios you can choose.

Actually it just made me really, really sad. I can't remember if I cried or what, but maybe I did. It's pretty hard for me to actually cry, but a welling up in the eyes, sure.

Something about this made me absolutely lose it. I can straight up cry from it. I've seen a few other songs from the Voice that have had that capability, especially when I'm high tbh. The night this aired, I was watching it and smoking with my next door neighbor and it took me by surprise. I cried so hard I had to just tell her not to even look at me, there was no hiding it at all.

Regular songs can only ever make me almost cry. I need a visual to really feel it. And it helps if there was some back story, which a competition suffices for. For that reason I'm not sure others who didn't follow the journey would feel the same thing.

This did. Now it doesn't.

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Wander My Friends, it caught me off guard the first time I saw the translated lyrics.

Loved this even before I found the translation from Irish Gaelic to English.
Originally heard it on the re-imagined BSG.
