Oh, come on you guys! Watching this pissing match makes me feel bad for having said so many times that the majority of atheists are formerly religious, albeit this was to point out the culture of my country to the sort of idiots who typically don't exist outside of the US. Yeah, our theist trolls are that bad, not even knowing the first thing about atheists in their own country!
Evie is in the United Kingdom, and EP should understand (as I have learned through dialogue with atheists everywhere online) that the culture of Britain and Europe is far less religiously-driven, so more of their atheists are as natural-born as the day they were.... If you didn't know that, then try and learn from it. I hate to see members who I have much respect for go at it like this - can you try and put this misunderstanding behind you?

I did understand what you were saying, your objection was unwarranted because I was technically correct... Any by the way was saying you "hate pedants" your way of admitting that I was technically correct while insulting me in the process and continuing to act immature?

That post was a bit strange, and since he titled the thread as he did, there's nothing dickish in pointing it out the way you did. That's probably what I would have done.

It's about his willful ignorance of what I meant, not about the fact that he was born an atheist and always was one. I never said I doubt that, I just said nobody gives a fuck, since the thread was rather obviously asking about how one became an atheist, and since he never became one, he didn't have to post.
