More seriously, you are free of course to suggest courses of action, and more importantly provide constructive criticism (in fact you are encouraged). But actually to appoint yourself as the arbiter of what we can and can't do, or more specifically what we should and shouldn't do, will only result in us - in me, certainly - saying "fuck ot" and leaving you to it. Remember the strike?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Do you have unlimited powers? Did I really do something wrong or is it wrong just because you deem it so? Illuminate this for me.

Ok, then what did just happen? Why do you feel O.K. with your colleague telling me what I can and can't do in that case?

Staff enforce the Rules (there's a reason I always capitalise the word) and keep the forum on track. Please stop taking the piss.

That is being discussed as we speak. I am not going to reveal private deliberations.

I'm not trying to be unreasonable. Your colleague over here was trying to force me stop doing what you just said I was allowed to do. How do you explain that exactly?

I'm expressing a personal opinion. I'm "authorized" to express myself in the same way as anyone else here. It happens to be my personal opinion that you're acting in a way that's going to get you in trouble with the staff if you persist, so I'm strongly recommending that you alter said behavior.
If this was something official, it'd be wrapped in an admin or moderator notice.

Constructive criticism - yes.
Dictating what we should and shouldn't be doing - no.
Don't strawman me.

All this, in spades.
