Why, if the book of Mormon is the most correct book on earth, has the very nature of god and Jesus changed from the "translation" that Smith made using the gift and power of God?

Why does the "translation" of the Book of Abraham not comport with what any legitimate Egyotologist has been able to translate from the papyri? (They are standard funerary texts) of they respond with some version of "they were merely a vehicle for inspired revelation point out that Mormon scriptures say that Smith translated the BOA from those papyri, not that they were any sort of vehicle for inspiration.

I've honestly never seen them bothering anyone in public, they only used to come to my door, at least until I got myself permanently blacklisted, and now I only see them riding their precious little bikes down the road.

I once ran into some Mormons trolling a public beach where I worked as a kid, which is only 90 minutes upstate of NYC.

Fortunately, they will put you on the black list and never bother you again if you tell them, just as nicely as they do deserve as dishonest citizens, to fuck off. Having a gun displayed helps too

The last time I saw missionaries in my area was when I was out walking one of my cats and they were trolling my complex for converts. I was standing in front of my unit and my cat was lazing about on the sidewalk giving himself a bath or something and the mishes walked by. I smiled and said "hi" and in response, one looked at my cat and the other sort of held out the Book of Mormon with this wide-eyed, terrified look on his face like he was warding off a vampire.

Neither stopped to talk to me.
