That rubs me the wrong way, but I get who you are talking to

Allow me to modify: being an adult is about owning your behavior. I don't think men should be held to different standards. It's just that I'm a man, and that's how my father raised me, in his own language.

If he doesn't want one, then he needs to either not have sex with her or make sure protection is used. Personally, if he was smart, he would just not have sex. Unfortunately common sense isn't a flower that grows in everyone's garden.

And of course, if the woman wants a child that badly, she should find a partner willing to do the same. Additionally, there's always the right for adoption for her as well.

I'll agree both people should be responsible but life doesn't always work out that way and in the heat of the moment not everyone is prepared.

I still stand by what I said earlier. Once the deed is done, it becomes a woman's bodily autonomy right up until the child draws its first breath of air.

I would appreciate it if someone could elaborate on how consent to sex is the same as consent to parenting....o.O

Please don't say "preggers."  Please.  For fuck's sake, we are adults.  Just saying...

Preggers preggers preggers.

Ok, I'm done.

Lol. It's just as bad as when women refer to their menstrual cycles as "aunt flow." I hate pregnancy forums...*grumble*

Okay, I'll bite.  What is your favorite euphemism for pregnancy?  Personally I like "great with child" but "in the family way" and (dare I say it?) preggers is right up there.

In my family it was "my cousin Red" not an aunt, and "visit my pad" not a flow.

Lol! Ugh, they are all so terrible! I've never heard of "in the family way." That one is pretty annoying. I also don't like it when the man says "we're pregnant." I mean, for fuck's sake!

I use Aunt Flo because my teenage daughter doesn't want her brothers knowing that it's that time of the month. For her it makes her feel better thinking we're talking in code.
