How do I know Russia doesn't fuck around? Its human rights record. They'll be less inclined to bother throwing a PR spin on clamping electrodes to peoples bollocks. Guantanamo wouldn't be something they would find controversial.

So shes just a crazy nanny claiming to be a suicide bomber terrorist dressed in appropriate garb for a middle eastern woman after randomly murdering a child in her care? Is that what you're saying?
Because its either that, the network brazenly mistranslated her in the video and expected noone to be able to get the real translation or shes actually motivated by an extremist agenda. Given the circumstances I don't think its unreasonable to assume shes motivated by the religion most commonly associated with those things until evidence comes to light that isn't the case.

No surprise that she's mentally ill. There's also little to debate on religious ideas inspiring the horrific things which sociopaths and sick people do. But I believe there are two points of argument here which that doesn't address:

1. A certain type of barbarism was done by this woman which is has been unthinkable in non-Muslim cultures since the 17th Century, and is still practiced officially by legitimate Islamic governments, not just ISIS. Public beheadings are still done in Saudi Arabia, or they have been until very recently. Other unthinkable barbarities are practiced for certain by Islamic governments. This continues for no better reason than prevailing Islamic attitudes toward human life, regardless of the individual opinions of some Muslims.
   This woman was certainly inspired by the above.
2. Another recurring theme which Islam deserves the credit for is that nobody, not even little children are innocent. Islam and human empathy aren't famously compatible.
